Meet Your Instructor
Ashley Bloomberg, LMFT
Ashley Bloomberg, LMFT, is a mental health professional, researcher, and educator whose work combines clinical practice, qualitative research, and professional education. She is currently completing her PhD in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy and has experience conducting and publishing qualitative research.
Ashley brings both academic and practical experience to this training, with a focus on making research accessible to mental health professionals who may not consider themselves researchers.

Do I need research experience?
No. This training is designed to be accessible to professionals who are new to research and publication.
Do I need to already have a research idea?
No. Having an idea is helpful, but you don’t need to arrive with a fully developed research project
Is this training interactive?
Yes. The training includes interactive exercises, group activities, practical tools, and opportunities to explore your own research interests
Will I actually write a paper during the training?
The goal is not to complete an entire manuscript in four hours. Instead, you’ll develop a clearer understanding of your research idea and the next steps needed to move toward a publishable paper.
Are CEUs included in the registration price?
Yes. The training includes 4 board-approved interactive CEU hours.
Can professionals from outside Nevada attend?
Absolutely. However, professionals licensed outside Nevada should verify their CEU acceptance with their applicable licensing board.
Is food provided?
Yes. Pizza is provided, but bring your own drinks and snacks. There is a refrigerator available if you choose to bring your own lunch.
Is laptop computer and internet connection required?
In order to get the most out of this training it is recommended that you bring a laptop computer. Wifi connection will be available.
