Hi! I’m Ashley bloomberg, M.S., LMFT

I’m a fully licensed marriage and family therapist completing my PhD in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. At this time, I am living in Texas while completing my degree, conducting therapy from a virtual office. I am currently licensed in both Texas and Nevada. I originally opened my LLC in Las Vegas, and worked with clients in the battle born state for several years. Although I’m a California native, I received my Bachelor of Science at the University of Nevada, Reno, in Human Development & Family Studies in 2019 and my Master of Science in Couple & Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2021.

When I’m not doing my thing in therapy, you can find me outdoors hiking and camping with my pets, kayaking the Colorado, and catching up on whatever T.V. series I’m into. I enjoy fashion, photography, and taking myself out on solo adventures to a new restaurant, concert, or a main character moment driving with the windows down and singing (off-key).

As a therapist, I believe in pushing you to see the results you want while also making sure you feel comfortable to walk in my office, kick off your shoes, and be vulnerable.

I have experience supporting clients with cultural and intergenerational trauma, sexual trauma, OCD, infidelity recovery, depression, anxiety, C-PTSD, neurodiversity, specific phobias, binge-type coping behaviors (such as spending, eating, or drinking), body dysmorphia, agoraphobia, grief, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (including skin picking, nail biting, and hair pulling). I am an affirming and inclusive therapist for clients with minority identities, including LGBTQIA+ individuals.

I also work with children through play-based therapy and parent–child interaction approaches, particularly for encopresis and enuresis, separation anxiety, trauma, and OCD. I support teens who need a safe and trusted space, especially around family-of-origin or blended-family stress, disordered eating patterns, identity development, and relationship or friendship challenges.

My practice primarily serves women who have experienced narcissistic abuse in their family of origin or intimate partnerships, as well as AuDHD and neurodivergent adults navigating burnout, past trauma, masking and people-pleasing patterns, and the pressure to perform in demanding careers and personal lives. I am especially passionate about supporting clients with insecure attachment styles (anxious, avoidant, or disorganized) who are seeking a safe place to heal and break cycles of generational trauma.

I have also developed an emetophobia treatment protocol that integrates EMDR, ERP, and SFBT through a blend of individual and family-supported sessions. I collect outcome measures using emetophobia inventories to guide treatment planning and track symptom reduction.

At this time, my caseload is focused on clients whose needs align with my specialization and training. If your needs fall outside this scope, I am happy to offer referrals to trusted colleagues whose work may be a better fit.

I know that therapy is hard, and there will be hard sessions. My biggest hope for you is that you leave the room knowing with confidence, “we’re working on it, I’m gonna be okay.” I absolutely love what I do, and I hope you will love your experience in therapy.
